Doula Support Services

A doula is a trained professional who provides informational, physical, and emotional support to women and their birth partners throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Doulas aim to help moms have the most safe, healthy, and satisfying birth experience possible.

Research shows that women who have doula support during labor and delivery are 39% less likely to have a c-section, 15% more likely to have a non-induced vaginal delivery, two times less likely to experience a birth complication, 10% less likely to need any medication for pain relief, 31% more likely to report satisfaction with their birth experience, and on average have a 41 minute reduction in labor duration compared to women who do not have doula support. In short, doulas are childbirth heroes who improve safety and comfort while preventing unnecessary interventions (and the costs associated with them). Our Certified Doula, Emma Mang, is passionate about providing her clients with full-spectrum support throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period to enable them to have an empowered, confident birth and entrance into parenthood.
